How the bot works

- Open the botSearch @pickle_picker_bot in Telegram or tap the button on this page. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
- Pick a sideThe bot sends a dilemma with two buttons. Tap one and it shows you the split straight away — the same live numbers the website uses.
- It remembers where you got toThe bot keys your history to your Telegram account, so it never sends a dilemma you have already answered — pick up mid-conversation weeks later and it carries on.
Group chats
Why it works better in a chat than on a screen
The game was always a conversation. Telegram is where the conversation already is.
Nobody has to be in the roomEveryone votes from their own phone, whenever they open the chat. A question posted at lunch still has an argument under it by evening.
No device passingOne dilemma, everyone taps their own side. The split updates as the votes come in, so the reveal is worth waiting for.
It ends when you wantThere is no round, no score and no loser. Send one question or twenty — the chat carries on either way.
Bot questions, answered
Everything about playing Would You Rather in Telegram.
Is there a Would You Rather bot for Telegram?
Yes — @pickle_picker_bot. It sends you a Would You Rather question with two tappable options, records your pick, and shows you how everyone else voted. It is free and needs no sign-up.
Can I use it in a group chat?
Yes. Add the bot to a group and everyone can answer the same dilemma from their own phone — no passing a device around, and the split updates as people vote. It works well as a five-minute warm-up in a team or friends chat.
Does my progress carry over between sessions?
Inside Telegram, yes — the bot keys your answers to your Telegram account, so it never repeats a dilemma you have already picked a side on, however long you leave between rounds. It does not yet share that history with a website account, so treat the two as separate progress for now.
Is the bot free?
Yes, entirely. Same 1,000+ questions as the website, no payment and no premium tier. If you would rather not use Telegram at all, the browser game needs no install either.
Is there a Would You Rather API I can use?
Not a public one today. The bot talks to an authenticated internal endpoint rather than an open API, so there is nothing to hand out yet. If you are building something and need programmatic access, email [email protected] and tell us what you need — that is how we will decide whether to open one.
Prefer it on a bigger screen?
The same questions and the same live splits — in your browser, on Android, or in the chat. Each surface keeps its own history for now, so start wherever you like.
